Each year, Washington's National Park Fund raises funds for priority projects at Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. Thanks to the individuals, foundations, and corporations who contribute, a direct impact is truly made in these iconic places. Together, we fund important park projects andprograms that advance science and research, improve visitors' experiences, expand volunteerism and stewardship, and strengthen youth and family programs.
As we approach the end of our fiscal year on September 30 each year, some of the projects are only partially funded. For example, a significant trails project up on North Cascades National Park's Sahale Arm has a goal of $25,000. To date, REI and some individuals have contributed $16,520. The park needs an additional $8,750 to take this project up and "Over the Top."
