Join us for the FIRST Women’s Only Weekend (WOW!) to be held at Mount Rainier National Park August 26 – 28.  We’ll camp in the Longmire Stewardship Campground (behind the Longmire Historic District and over the bridge).  It’s quiet, secluded, and reserved for those who give back to the park through volunteerism and stewardship…that’s you.  You have the option of bringing your own tent or trailer, or reserving one of the platform tents in the campground (limited availability).  You could also check with our friends at National Park Inn and Paradise Inn to see if there are any rooms available.  For that matter, you could elect to stay in Ashford and join us for all activities…whatever works best for you.

The weekend will include a mix of hiking options, a few stewardship projects, and a bit of R and R…something we all need more of.  This is our inaugural launch so we’ll be limiting it to 50 women.  In the future, we dream of rotating around to Olympic National Park and North Cascades National Park.

NOTE:  There is no charge for the weekend other than the suggested donation ($100 minimum) for one of three park priority projects that will be presented Saturday night.
